SAWCHUK: Jesse William . It is with the deepest sadness that we say goodbye to Jesse at the age of 42. He was born in Edmonton, Alberta on August 18th, 1981. Jesse’s passion for life was apparent in everything he did. From the time he got his first dirt bike at 5 years old he developed a love for speed and racing. Which grew into many 1st place BMX trophies and, racing his beloved mustang.
Jesse Graduated in 1999 from Bonnie Doon Composite High School. He moved to Kelowna BC with his dad in 2004. In 2008, he met the love of his life and became a proud devoted father. To Jesse, the time he spent with his family was the time he treasured the most. He loved Camping out in the mountains and 4X4ing in his Jimmy. Jesse always got excited at the chance to rip through a deep mud bog. The muddier his truck was after a 4X4 excursion often related to the amount of fun that was had on the trip. Whether he was smoking his tires and ripping donuts somewhere or, telling a funny story by the campfire, Jesse’s free spirit and deep rhythmic laughter could always be seen and heard.
Jesse’s heart always put everyone first, despite what he needed or wanted. If Jesse’s family was happy then he was happy. His contagious smile and radiant warmth made Jesse the most special husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Left to grieve in deep sorrow is his wife Lisa, his children Braiden, Tyson, and Layla. His Parents Russ and Dawna. His sisters Christi (Kyle) and Melissa. His Grandmother Mona and Grandfather Brian. His nephews Luke, Karson, Kayden, and his niece Olivia. Jesse’s absence will be profoundly felt, and his memory will be forever held close in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Jesse’s Life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave in Kelowna B.C on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, at 1pm.
