His dear wife Bess of 68 years predeceased him on October 24 2015.
David was born in Eton, England on 16th April 1925. He attended boarding school at Bath, Somerset. He spent 2 years at London University followed by Aeronautical engineering. He joined the RAF in late 1943. He also met his dear wife in 1943 and they married in 194. They immigrated to Canada in 1954 where he worked for Canadair now Bombardier. They moved to Kelowna in 1976 and David worked for Sun-Rype until 1983 when he retired. In 1990 he and Bess collected enough money through canvassing and donations to build the SPCA shelter on Casorso Road, free of mortgages and encumbrances. An achievement dear to their animal loving hearts.
David will be missed by many friends.
There will be no funeral service but donations can be made to the Kelowna SPCA.
