Virginia "Gennie" Ruth Stegall

She was born May 1, 1945 in Seymour Texas as the daughter of the late Effie and Garland Holt. Virginia graduated from Holliday High School in 1962. She married her husband of 54 years, Travis Stegall, on February 19, 1965. They have two children: Angela Stegall and Daron Stegall, both residing in Fort Worth Texas and daughter-in-law Vannessa Barrientos of Fort Worth, Texas. Virginia loved spending time in her garden and playing with her grandkids, Jackson Stegall and Zylah Stegall. She was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of Grapevine. She brought joy to all those who knew her and never spoke a harsh word.

In addition to her husband, kids and grandkids, Virginia is survived by sisters, Margie Sampley, Jerry Ellison and brothers, Bill Holt, Larry Holt, James Holt and wife Evelyn and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Sandra Stiles and husband James, and brothers-in-law Danny Stegall, Henry Stegall and wife Molly, Rufus Stegall and wife Pam, Bill Stegall and wife Kimberly.

Along with her parents, Gennie was preceded in death by her sister Glenna Ayres and brother, G. W. Holt.

The Celebration of Life service will be at 2 pm on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home located at 220 Keller Parkway, Keller, Texas, 76248.
