Sandy, Age 68, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Sandy was employed by Amentum since 2020, but spent the last 33 years working as a Proposal Specialist at varying employers. Sandy loved to travel, especially to any type of beach where she would partake in her favorite activity of laying in the sun and absorbing as much heat as she could. Sandy also loved music especially country and Roll & Roll and attended as many concerts as she possibly could.
She is survived by her Husband of 9 years, Aaron Thurman; 2 sons, Dan Collins of Tacoma Wa and Steven Spence (Amber) of Georgetown, In; 3 grandchildren, Jaelyn Collins, Xander Spence, and Lucas Spence; her 4 lovely cats, Lexi, Stretch, Jack Ryan, and Zoey; 4 sisters, several step children, and a copious amount of nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome to participate with Sandy’s family in a celebration of her life this coming Friday morning at 11 a.m. at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home 220 Keller Parkway Keller, TX. There will also be a small burial service Saturday at noon at the McKnight Cemetery in Cushing Tx.
