Priscilla Ann Davis (nee Thompson), 81, of Discovery Village Ft. Worth Texas, passed away on June 26th 2023 in her home. Priscilla was born on October 12th 1941 to Worth and Russell Thompson in the small town of Colon Michigan. In 1959, the same year Priscilla graduated from Colon High School, she married her high school boyfriend Mike Davis in a ceremony at her parent’s home. Priscilla and Mike went on to have one child, Michelle.
Priscilla attended Schoolcraft Community College in Michigan earning an Associate degree. She had a long and very successful career in Accounting and Information Technology often becoming the first woman in her company to attain a management position. Priscilla travelled widely during her career with stints in Florida, New York, Hawaii, Michigan, and Indiana before ultimately moving to Texas in 1995. She was always a trailblazer and groundbreaker throughout her life.
Priscilla met her eventual life partner Ron in 1990 when he interviewed her for a job. True to form she got the job and ultimately became his boss in later years. Together they formed a loving bond that would last until her final day.
In 2002 Priscilla retired and spent her time decorating and landscaping the home she and Ron built, antiquing, collecting jewelry, and travelling through the Southwest with Ron.
Priscilla was predeceased by her father Russell, mother Worth, Aunt Ruth and Uncle Carlisle. She is survived by her life partner Ron, sister Sharon, Cousin Margo, daughter Michelle, grandson Michael Riley, granddaughter Melissa and 5 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Priscilla will be held 2 PM, Thursday, July 6th at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home, 220 Keller Parkway, Keller, TX 76248. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Michigan Humane Society, an organization Priscilla felt strongly about.
