Linda Gayle Ellis

Linda was born October 26, 1951 in Abilene, TX. She is preceded in death by parents: Virgil & Marie Turnbow; brothers, Gerald Turnbow & Gary Turnbow; sisters, Nancy Nash & Nita Wright and mother-in-law, Helen Ellis. Linda is survived by husband, Bobby Ellis; son, Beau Ellis & wife Jessica; granddaughter, Sophie Ellis; sisters: Dora Morgan, Theresa Ellis, Valerie Henderson, Tina Justice & Cindy Kelley; brothers: Plezz Turnbow, Terry Turnbow, Robert Turnbow & Michael Turnbow; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Linda will be remembered by all who loved her as a kind and generous person who loved Jesus and loved others as herself. She was a devoted wife to Bobby, the love of her life, for 47 years. She was a proud mother and grandmother who loved to brag on her son, Beau, and dote on her granddaughter, her “adorable, darling, grandbaby girl” Sophie. She was an amazing sister, 7th of 14 children, and she regarded her siblings as her best friends. She loved to spend time with them planning family events, going to movies, and playing cards. She was a longtime Mary Kay consultant who loved helping her clients feel beautiful. Recently, she had found a new passion in driving for Uber. She loved meeting new people and telling them about the Lord; she was using her work as her ministry. Everyone who loved her will miss her sense of joy, unconditional love, and encouragement.

Visitation is 6-8p.m. Wednesday May 15, 2019 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Keller’s Old Town Funeral Home, 220 Keller Pkwy, Keller, TX 76248. Interment will follow at Bourland Cemetery, Keller, TX.
