Wallace W. Clark Sr.

He was born in Keene, New Hampshire on December 3, 1943, the son of Norman R. and Loretta D. (Vaudriean) Clark, Sr. He was a 1961 graduate of Keene High School. He proudly served in the United States National Guard. For many years he worked at American Optical and later he retired from his work at Sunoco, after more than twenty years of service with the company. Although he lived in Keene for most of his life, he spent about five years in St. Petersburg, Florida, which is where he married his late wife: Gloria Foss, on April 7 1990.

Wally had a wonderful personality and was always the one telling jokes and being the life of the party. He also enjoyed going to the beach and spending time on the water. NASCAR, basketball, softball, and going to Foxwood Casino were other things which he enjoyed.

He is survived by five sons: Wallace W. Clark, Jr and his girlfriend Carla Moynihan of Keene, NH, Scott J. Clark of Troy, NH, Joseph McMahon of Keene, NH, Dale J. Peloquin of Keene, NH, and Dennis Clark-Benkosky of South Carolina, two step-daughters: Tabitha L. Peterson of Keene, NH and Rhiannon E. Reed of Oklahoma, fifteen grandchildren, two brothers: Norman R. Clark, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Dublin, NH and Francis L. Clark and his wife Lorenda of Swanzey, NH, one sister: Priscilla Sprague and her husband Percy of Keene, NH, his former wife: Evelyn Wolhok-McMahon of Keene, NH, and many nieces, nephew and cousins. He is predeceased by his wife: Gloria Clark and his sister Janice Clark.

Services will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the 2pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH. Family and friends are invited to call on the family Monday, February 13, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Troy, NH and will be held in the Spring.
