Rachel Lee Rose

Her parents, Raymond Avent and Sandra (Koziel) Morgan welcomed their daughter into the world on November 8, 1969, in Buffalo, New York. She grew up in Buffalo and was a graduate of South Park High School.

A resident of Keene since 2007, Rachel worked for twelve years as a supervisor in retail sales with Walmart and later with JC Penney’s, both in Keene.

When not hard at work, Rachel enjoyed working in her floral gardens, planting and tending to her favorite flowers, her sunflowers. She also enjoyed sitting on the front porch of her home, watching people and the cars, as they passed by.

Her favorite memories the special times shared with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by many, especially her husband of twelve years, Timothy V. Rose of Keene; her children, Megan Huard and her husband, Matthew, Rebecca Curry and Brian Curry, all of Keene; her grandchildren, Bailey Chandler, Haven Huard, John Bennett, Jadyn Rose, Kaleb Rose, Ryan Anderson, Logan Anderson, Alex Decker, Hayden Chandler; her parents, Raymond Avent and Sandra Morgan, both of Buffalo; her siblings, Sheila Dowhy and her husband, Mark, of Mayville, NY, Jolene Morgan, Charles Avent and his wife, Marlayna, Gerri Avent, Raymond Avent, all of Buffalo; her step-children, Chad Rose of Troy, NY, Laurey Bennett of Alstead, NH, Chasity Chandler of Winchendon, MA, Timothy Rose of Keene; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A celebration of life and visitation for Rachel will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00PM at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene.
