Ovelia Marie Faulkner

She was born in Mooers, NY on September 18, 1921 the daughter of Joseph and Rosanna (Stone) DeRosier.

She has been a resident of Keene, NH for most of her life and attended local schools. She was employed by the NH Ball Bearings Company in Peterborough, NH for 19 years.

She was a member of the Parish of the Holy Spirit and attended St. Bernard’s Church. She was also a member of the Monadnock Squares and enjoyed time spent with her family and sewing. One of the highlights in her life was her graduation from Keene High School in 1997 at the age of seventy-five.

She is survived by her daughter Joyce Hautanen of Keene; two grandchildren; Alan Parker and Monia Brock; four great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; a sister Cora Kerylow of West Lebanon, NH and several nieces and nephews. Her daughter Rosanna Faulkner and her brother Paul DeRosier died earlier.

A prayer service will be held in the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Main Street, Keene. Family and Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
