His wife, with the assistance from her loving family and his parents worked tirelessly so that Michael could spend his remaining days in their home where they lived for the past 29 years.
He was born in Brattleboro, Vermont on February 20, 1961, son of Andrew and Mary (Ethridge) Bonski. He grew up in and graduated from Winchester’s Thayer High School in 1979 and soon after graduation worked several years for People’s Linen Rental as a route driver and production worker.
He married Gail A. Parker on June 5, 1982 in a ceremony at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Winchester.
In his you earlier years, he loved hunting and fishing and playing baseball. His great loves were the Red Sox (in particular “Yaz”), the Chevy Camaro, and vacationing with their timeshare. In recent years he enjoyed playing board games and cards with his mother and father. Family time was very important to him and he spent as much time as possible with them.
Survivors include his wife and caregiver of 30 years: Gail Bonski of Keene; his parents: Andrew and Mary Bonski of Ashuelot; a sister: Brenda Ebbighausen and her husband Brian of Hinsdale; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and his cat Mittens.
A Liturgy of the Word will be held at St. Bernard’s Church in Keene on Friday, June 29 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Monadnock View Cemetery in Keene. There will be no public Calling Hours.
