Kathleen Ann Lonie

She was born December 28, 1952 in Bronx, New York, the daughter of Joseph and Maureen (McCarthy) Lonie. She was a 1973 graduate of Keene High School. For several years she worked for Keene State College.

Her vivacious personality and joyful spirit spread to everyone that she met. She surrounded herself with people and things that she loved the most: her family, her beanie-babies, teddy-bears books, trinkets and especially her kitty, “Stiches”. She had her own sense of style: bright colors and jewelry were her favorite. She was a very compassionate person and had a very strong faith: she attended St. Bernard Church in Keene.

She is survived by her Father: Joseph Lonie of New Ipswich, her sister: Mary Lonie of Massachusetts, two brothers: Kevin Lonie and his wife Susan of Manchester and Bryan Lonie and his wife Karen of Marlborough and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 12pm. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Main Street, Keene, NH. Family and friends are invited to call on the family on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 6 to 8pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH.

Those attending the calling hours and service are asked to wear bright colors and “bling” in honor of Kathy.
