Jacquilyn Harrison, was the daughter of George and Elizabeth Piper of Winchester, NH. She attended local schools and married Walter Harrison, Jr. of Marlborough, NH who died in 1991 after 40 years of marriage.
The couple had four children, James Harrison and his wife Melanie of Winchester, Joyce Merton of Newport News, Virginia, John Harrison and his wife Kathy of Salisbury, Maryland and Jane Beauregard and her husband Peter of Marlborough, NH. She has nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her brother George Piper of Massachusetts and her parents predeceased her.
Jacqulyn had a long life of volunteering, 27 years as an EMT on the Winchester Ambulance, and 50 years with the America Red Cross, the last 15 years were spent traveling all over the country with disaster relief.
She worked at several local companies, the Winchester and Keene school districts and as an in-home caregiver. Jacquilyn was a gifted artist. She truly enjoyed painting, using a variety of mediums, and has left behind creations that her family will enjoy for years to come.
Jacquilyn’s last three years were spent as a resident of Pine Heights at Brattleboro Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Brattleboro, Vermont. She considered Pine Heights her home and the personnel and staff at Pine Heights her extended family. She especially enjoyed the recreation and arts and crafts programs.
At her request, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held for her family at a later date.
