Dorothy A Castine

Born January 20, 1957 in Keene, she was the daughter of Richard and Edna (Bassett) Castine.

Dorothy enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles in her leisure. She loved to listen to country music and watch John Wayne westerns. She was drawn to the late 1980’s mini-series - Lonesome Dove.

She was most fond of the time she could spend with her grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter: Amy Castine, and her companion, Jason Porter and Amy’s children –Dustin, Kayla and Christian, all of Winchester; her son: John Miles of West Swanzey; her sisters: Laurie Castine of Harrisville and Edith Chase and her husband James of Keene; her brothers: Richard Castine, and his wife, Sandy of Keene and David Castine of Winchester; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Billy Castine, in 1991.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the Winchester VFW Post 3968, S. Main St, Winchester NH 03470.
