Doreen L. Gnade

She was born February 4, 1937 in Keene, NH the daughter of Joseph and Leona (Quinten) Chabott. Doreen attended St. Joseph Regional School and was a 1955 graduate of Keene High School. Doreen was a 1957 graduate of the Grace Downs Airline Stewardess School, in New York City. Doreen was a communicant at St. Bernard Church in Keene. For many years she worked for the Homebuilders Association of Southwest New Hampshire. She enjoyed working as a part of the team that put together the Home Show each year in the Monadnock Region.

Above everything she loved spending time with her family and was a devoted and loving Mom and Gram. She taught her children and grandchildren life lessons including the importance of hard work and the value of family and friends. She had a wonderfully compassionate spirit and was both spunky and feisty, which all came together to make her a very strong woman.

She is survived by her daughter: Tammy Bischof of Swanzey, her son Philip Shepard of Clifton Park, NY, three grandchildren: Spencer Bischof. Alexis Shepard and Phylicia Bischof-Flood and her husband Patrick and several cousins and extended family members. She is also survived by her loving companion: Coach Gil White.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11:30am at St. Bernard Church, 185 Main St. Keene, NH. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Main St Keene, NH. Family and friends are invited to call on the family on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court St. Keene, NH.
