Cynthia “Cindy” Glover, 88, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2023, from Alzheimer’s disease. Cindy was a life-long resident of Keene, NH and Bradford, NH, and the daughter of the late Dorris (Darling) and Francis Park of Keene.
Cindy graduated from Keene Teachers’ College (now Keene State College) in 1954. She taught first grade in Winchester and Keene for many years and retired from teaching at Jonathan Daniels School in the early 1990s. She and her late husband Charles enjoyed their retirement by wintering in Sebastian, Florida and summers at the family cottage on Lake Massasecum in Bradford, NH.
She is survived by her family, Tom Glover and his wife, Jen, of Rollinsford, NH, John Glover and his wife Eileen, of Swanzey, NH, and Tim Glover of Florida. In addition, she is survived by granddaughters Maggie, Emily and Annabelle, grandsons Dan, Nick and Ben, and several nephews and a niece.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 18th at 1:00 at Papagallos Restaurant, 9 Monadnock Highway, Swanzey, NH.
