She was born in Keene, on April 11, 1941, the daughter of Charles E. and Lucy B. (Brown) Hill. She attended area schools and graduated with the Class of 1959 from Keene High School. She was the Tax Collector for the Town of Stoddard for 25 years.
In high school she met her true love, Bradley C. Pratt, Sr., and they married on October 9, 1959, they enjoyed over 55 years of marriage.
She was a member of the State Tax Collectors Organization, past President of the Munsonville Ladies Group, member of the Stoddard Women's Fellowship, and Rip Out Sewing Group. She was a member of the Munsonville Chapel By The Lake for over 30 years. As a member of the Friends of the Creche Holy Night Nativity, she proudly displayed her collection of over 700 nativities at the Cheshire Fair.
She enjoyed crocheting, traveling the west and Midwest of the United States and collecting and speaking of the Nativity. She loved the water and swimming, often spending hours in the water. However, her family and those she considered family were always priority and the most important to her.
She is survived by her husband of over 55 years, Bradley C. Pratt, Sr. of Stoddard, her three children: Bradley (Chet) C. Pratt, Jr. and his wife Denise of Stoddard, Charles F. Pratt and his wife Mary of Stoddard and Brian C. Pratt of Munsonville; a brother: Roger M. Hill and his wife Carol of Florida; five grandchildren: Miles Pratt, Benjamin Pratt, Sara Pratt, Jared Pratt and Riley Pratt; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister: Lucille A. Wichland and a grandchild: Derron Pratt.
At Charlotte’s request, there will be no public calling hours and burial will be private. A Memorial Service, celebrating her life, will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, 10:00 AM, at the Munsonville Chapel by the Lake, 529 Granite Lake Rd, Nelson, NH 03457.
