Ursula "Uch" Reed

Uch was born October 29, 1941 to the late Joseph and Anna Zylka. She was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda (Frank) Rozenbaum. She is survived by her beloved husband of over 47 years, Dr. Melvin “Mel” Reed; Stepchildren John (Cindy) Reed and the late Sherry (Tom) Hartley; Grandchildren, Tom (Lindsay) Hartley and Chris (Lana) Hartley; Great-grandchildren, Cara, Kelsey, Craig, Charlotte, and Addison; Nephews, John (Denise), Joe (Iris), and Frank (Crystal) Rozenbaum; Great-nephews and Great-niece; Tyler, Andrew, Brandon, Russell, and Anna.

Uch was an avid traveler. She and Mel loved planning their many cruises and traveling to her beloved Hawaiian Island of Kauai every February. She enjoyed cooking and baking, often having her family over for holiday dinners in both their homes in Bloomfield and, later in Leonard. Uch spent her days taking wonderful care of Mel, feeding her outdoor wildlife, looking through her many catalogs, and shopping. She always enjoyed the many sporty cars she drove.

Urula’s family will welcome friends and family to a memorial gathering on Saturday January 7, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at noon, at Family Funeral Care, located at 2904 Orchard Lake Road in Keego Harbor, Michigan.
