MELLEROWICZ IRENE J. (nee HAJEC) Passed away peacefully in her home on December 18, 2015 at the age of 97. Preceded in death by her husband Louis (2000) and son John (2014). Loving mother of William (Mary Therese), Paul, David Mellerowicz and Mary (Kevin) Wolff. Grandma to Kathleen (Ian) McPheeters, Jennifer (Vincent) Renaud, Therese (Tristan) Schwarz, Harrison and Benjamin Wolff. Great grandma to Quinn and Gordon McPheeters. A devoted Catholic, Irene volunteered in the parochial schools her children attended, served in various ministries, and member of The Polish Century Club. Visitation on Sunday December 27 at the Pixley Funeral Home in Keego Harbor, 2–9pm with a rosary at 7pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, December 28, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Refuge Parish in Orchard Lake. Family will receive friends beginning 9:30 a.m. Internment at All Saints Cemetery in Waterford. In lieu of flowers, kindly make a donation to Our Lady of Refuge Parish.
