Betsy Webster Rockett

Betsy led a full and active life, born and raised in the Boston area, she attended Mount Holyoke College, Harvard School of Education, and later in life, Fuller Theological Seminary.

A stay at home mother of four, moving from New England to California after the first two were born, she volunteered in Girl Scouts and as a Sunday School teacher. As her children left home, she began a career in retail banking, and pursued a degree in Marriage and Family counseling at Fuller Theological Seminary, helping people through City Team Ministries and Christian Counseling Center of San Jose, California, Childrens Place of Redwood City, and El Camino Hospital in Mountain View.

Betsy is survived by her daughter Laurie Lupton and husband Roger of Bloomfield Township, Michigan, her son Russell and wife Heidi of Spokane, Washington, and daughter Louise Rockett of Everett, WA. Betsy was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Robert Rockett, who passed away in 2004. Also predeceased by her daughter Susan Pianka, husband Juergen of Bloomfield, Michigan.

Betsy was a proud grandmother of 10, and great-grandmother of 11.
