Robert De La Rosa Garcia Jr.

Robert was born in San Antonio, TX, but became a longtime resident of Katy, Texas for the past 40 years.

He was a loving man to his family and a good neighbor and friend; someone who could be relied upon, and was always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. He served as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in his community and made many dear friends as a member of Happy Hearts at his church. He was a Service Manager for Ecolab, Inc., for 23 years and retired in 2006. He was respected by his colleagues because of his strong work ethic and dedication and was loved for his friendly personality and caring heart. He also proudly served in the United States Air Force in his earlier years.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert De La Rosa Garcia, Sr., and Margarita Garcia, and by his sister, Linda Guerra.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Victoria Garcia, his children, Pete Garcia (Thelma), Anthony Garcia (Margarita), Diane Salinas, Margaret Pendergrast (Mark), Robert Garcia III (Cari), 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, and by his brother, Ralph Garcia (Mary Alice), and sister, Mary Montecinos (Joe), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
