Jennifer’s life was epitomized by a love for family, sports, and travel. Her passion for sports started in elementary school playing softball for Memorial Drive Methodist Church, then tennis in junior and senior high school. At 15 years old Jenn earned the state rank of Super Champ. Jenn went on to play tennis with Taylor High School in Katy where the team won two state championships. As a senior at Texas Tech she tried out for and appeared on Wheel of Fortune and won a trip to Hawaii where she took her mom, dad and sister Michelle for an amazing family vacation. Jennifer had a great love for travel taking her to many international countries and looked forward to her annual trip to Clearwater beach to visit her Aunt Linda. Jennifer excelled at everything she did including cooking and writing poetry.
Jenn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Jenn was a huge Red Raider fan always cheering for her team. Her career began as a High School English teacher and Varsity Tennis Coach. Jenn later transitioned into the oil and gas industry and enjoyed working the past 5 years at Expro Americas as a WIS administrator.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents Dorothy and Jim Chenault and Billie and Joe Hollingsworth. Jenn is survived by her loving parents Pam and Bernie Hollingsworth, sister Michelle Stone and husband Kevin Stone; aunts & uncles - Pam & Gene Diamont, Debbie & Wayne Smiley; Cindy Burns, Linda & Paul Halterman; along with numerous fun loving cousins that she adored.
She touched everyone’s lives in many unique ways. She brought a lot of happiness and joy to those that were close to her and she will forever be in our hearts. We thank God for holding a special place in Heaven for her and know we will eventually be reunited.
Jenn will always be remembered for her love of family, her sense of humor, and sharp wit. Her happiest times were spent with all of her extended family at their bay house in Galveston.
