Gregory Alan Ferguson

Gregory Alan Ferguson, 66, of Katy, TX, passed away on May 30, 2023. He was born on June 26, 1956, in Chicago, IL, to Robert and Leona Ferguson. Gregory was a storage architect with Hitachi Data Systems, Falls Church, VA. He also volunteered his time at the local senior citizen center teaching seniors how to use their personal computers and software.

Gregory was an intelligent and personable man with a great sense of humor. He was hardworking and loved his family dearly. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lucia Carter Ferguson, his son Christopher A. Niles and daughter-in-law Leslie Niles, his mother Leona Ferguson, his sister Daria Ferguson, his brothers Keith Ferguson and Robert Jefferson, his grandchildren Christopher L. Niles, Czaria Niles, Aubrey McKay, and Asia Chisholm, as well as nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ferguson.

Gregory attended The Latin School of Chicago and later attended Strayer University. His family teachings, his culinary skills, his love of life and overall sense of humor are the qualities we most remember in him. Although he will be sorely missed, Gregory kept us all happy and smiling
