Donna was born and raised in Manila, Philippines on July 30, 1939. She is predeceased by her parents Roman and Jovita Altamirano. She was one of seven children and loved by her siblings: Rafael Altamirano, Saturnino Altamirano, Lucia Landrito, Natalia Encarnacion, Sylvestre Altamirano, and Ernie Altamirano. She married her husband, Dante Casupanan, and settled in Manila, Philippines. Together, they had six children: Edwin Casupanan, Gina Kowal, Milagros Casupanan, Emilio Casupanan, Alfredo Casupanan, and Liza Casupanan.
She loved spending time in the kitchen and made countless delicious meals for family and friends. From empanadas and eggrolls to noodles and sinigang, everyone felt the love and care that she expressed through her Filipino dishes. She also loved to go ballroom dancing when she had the time. She was dedicated to supporting her children and often found herself working and creating business from selling fruits and vegetables at the market to running and operating a small restaurant. She moved to the U.S. and started a flower arrangement business which she loved doing. She was also thrilled to spend time with all her grandchildren and create those loving memories All in all, Donna lived a full and happy life and touched so many people with her presence and smile.
She was survived by six of her children and their spouses, her fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
