Clyde Henry Boyd

Mr. Clyde Boyd, a United States Soldier, passed away on May 26, 2023 at 20810 Indigo River Lane, Katy, Texas 77449. Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife, Diane Boyd; daughters Robin Boyd and Ericka Boyd; son Bryant Boyd and grandchildren Wendy Boyd, Ciera Hill, Darrian Hampton, Tiara Boyd, Jonathan Boyd, Timothy Boyd and great grandson Lorenzo Berry.

Clyde Boyd was born on October 31, 1942 in Brinkley Arkansas to Jesse and Lula Boyd. His brothers: Jesse Lee Boyd, Paul Douglas Boyd and Kenneth Boyd and sisters: Lorraine (Boyd) Brooks and Elizabeth (Boyd) Johnson, all precede him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory, one sister, Dr. Betty Boyd Butler who lives in Desoto, TX.

He was quiet by nature but would always greet you with a friendly smile. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and brother.

Clyde has many cousins, nieces and nephews that will truly miss him as well.

Clyde enjoyed spending time with his family and will forever be cherished by his family.

Clyde was a loyal officer in the United States Military who honored his duty and country. He was a purple heart, member of the Urban League and American Legion organization for many years.

A Veteran’s Memorial Service will be held for Clyde on June 16th at 9:30am at Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX.
