William F. Brown, Jr., 88, formerly of Raytown, Missouri, died on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Osage Beach Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. He lived the last four years in Gravois Mills, Missouri with his son, Tom and his wife Glenda. Mr. Brown was a Navy veteran of World War II and was an electrician for General Mills for 38 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; two sisters; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter. He is survived by his sons, Thomas (Glenda) of Gravois Mills, MO, Sam, Paul, and Kenny Brown of the home; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and his furry constant companions, Sadie and Sophie.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12 at McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home, 11924 E. 47th St., with burial to follow in Floral Hills East Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior to service. Online condolences may be made at mcgilleymidtownchapel.com
