Vernie Lucille Hubbard

Vernie Lucille Hubbard, 93, Kansas City North, passed away June 2, 2016 at Liberty Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 7th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, burial in White Chapel Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled from 6-8 PM Monday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Contributions are suggested to Liberty Hospice.

Vernie was born in Stockton, MO and lived most of her life in Kansas City. She was a member of the Antioch Community Church. Vernie was crazy over Elvis, loved being with people and was a devoted fan of the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs. She also enjoyed working at the Winnwood Skating Rink snack bar. Vernie was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1994, as well as 5 siblings.

Survivors include her three daughters, Bonnie Thrall, Brenda Horn and Michelle Epperson and her husband, Joe; seven grandchildren, Joe Epperson, III., Crystal Ryun, John Horn, Sr., Brandon Horn, Stephanie Savage, Jason Epperson, Sr., and Aaron Horn; and 10 great grandchildren, Joe Epperson, IV., Alexis Epperson, Jason Epperson, Jr., Bryson Horn, Gage Ryun, Lane Epperson, John Horn, Jr., Kamden Ryun, Bane Horn and Stetson Epperson
