Sharon went to her forever home on April 28, 2016 after a fight with cancer. She was a devout Christian and looked forward to celebrating with her Lord. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 1st from 1-3 pm at the Timothy Lutheran Church, 425 NW R.D. Mize Rd., Blue Springs, MO. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 2nd at 10:00 am, also at the church. Graveside services will follow at the Floral Hills East Cemetery in Lee’s Summit, MO. Sharon was born in Wakenda, MO. on October 14, 1937 and graduated from Carrollton, MO. high school in 1955. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Carrollton, MO. She was basically a stay-at-home mom but went to work for Butler Mfg. Co. when her daughter was a senior in high school. She retired from Butler in 1993 after 15 years of service. She was an active member of Timothy Lutheran Church since 1980 serving as a co-chairman of the “Senior Team”. She was also very active when younger helping with the youth going on camping trips and float trips, Fall Fun Fest Curly fry booth. She also was a volunteer for the Senior Center when they first started having senior luncheons once a month. Sharon was an active member of the Optimist Club of Grain Valley for many years. She also called bingo, along with her husband, once a month at Shangri La Nursing Home. She helped with the distribution of Angel Food Ministries once a month. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson Noah, one brother and two sisters. She is survived by one son Tim & wife Pam of Oak Grove, MO. and one daughter Lori & husband Mark of Sunrise Beach, MO; five grandchildren, Raena Reisdorph (Josh), Raechel Zeigler (Nate) & Jonathan Morse , Stefanie Logan (Paul), and Melissa Deets (Aaron) and two step grandchildren. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, Kennedy & Gracelynn Reisdorph, Brodi & Brantli Zeigler, Aiven Miller, Elaina & Grant Logan and 4 step great grandchildren. She is survived by three brothers, Kenneth Scholle of Smithville, MO., Norvell Scholle of Carrollton, MO. and Royce Scholle of Eldridge, MO. Pallbearers for Sharon will be her five grandchildren.
