Sharon Louise Garrett

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Larry; her daughters, Kathy (Ron) Onwezen, Kelly (Guy) Broom; her grandchildren, Justin (Julie) Nuckolls, Nicole Testerman, Brandon (Madison) Bossler, Chloe Broom; her great-grandchildren, Olivia Testerman, Grayson Testerman, Lochlan Nuckolls, Brantley Bossler, Briggs Bossler; and her siblings Bob Johnson and Linda Daily.

She is preceded in death by her father Palmer Kenneth Johnson; mother Gladys Bernice Latondre (Paulson); and grandson Ryan Garrett Nuckolls.

Sharee was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved taking care of her husband and family with all of her being. She cherished the Lord and possessed a true servant’s heart. Her generosity, thoughtfulness, and spirit of giving were endless. She was truly selfless and always thinking of others. She took great pleasure in knowing she aided in others happiness. She genuinely enjoyed celebrating happy moments with people and loved preparing magnificent, delicious meals for others. She relied on her deep faith and took great comfort in the power of prayer to lead our lives. Sharee was the heart of the Garrett family and shaped our spirituality. She will be forever missed.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 12th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home. Followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
