Sharon Lee Davis was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1953 to Lloyd and Deloris Eggleston. Her extraordinary, Christian-loving life ended peacefully on July 17, 2023 at her home after battling a long illness. Sharon was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City, Missouri area and at her death lived in Grandview, Missouri.
She was a loving and supportive wife, sister, and aunt. Sharon graduated from Center High School and Metropolitan Community College at Longview with an Associates Degree in Education. Her work career led her in many directions. Her first assignment was with King Louie, and she later accepted a position at Farmers Insurance Company. She married Darrel Davis on September 21, 1990. Darrel was in the trucking business, which appealed to Sharon. Sharon and Darrel were soon team drivers taking them all over the continent. She enjoyed her work, and the opportunities allowed her to travel to many parts of the US. Sharon later retired in December 2017. Her new life marker allowed for travel, cruises, and being with her family, which were all the loves of her life. Sharon was a devout Christian and displayed that trait in all of her life activities. She played the piano, sang in church, and taught Sunday School. She volunteered in many activities and was a generous supporter of many organizations and charities. Sharon also liked shopping, crafts, and her little rescue dog Buddy.
Family and friends have big steps to fill as she leaves behind her husband Darrel, sister Shirley Amerine, nieces and nephews Kim Patel, Jason Amerine, Alicia Amerine, niece-in-law Katie Amerine, and nephew-in-law Chester Reberry. Along with her great nieces and nephews Justin Garrett, niece-in-law Naomi Garrett, Katie Garrett, Mckinzie Amerine, Kassie Patel, Arial Reberry, godson Joseph Reberry, Sami Amerine, Ryan Amerine and Jameson Garrett.
