Scott Anthony McGee 39, of Lenexa, KS passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 with his wife by his side. He graduated from Barstow School in 2001 and graduated from University of North Carolina-Charlotte in 2005 with a Bachelor degree in Business Management.
After graduating from college, Scott moved back to KC and worked for Sprint for several years when he reconnected with Kristin, his childhood sweetheart, he met at age 10. They were together for seven years before marrying on June 4, 2016. On April 20, 2017 their son Joseph was born.
Scott was a devoted husband and father and would do anything for his family. He loved attending concerts and cheering for the Royals and Chiefs. He loved to unwind on the golf course with his friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Holly McGee and grandfather, Joseph McGee.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Kristin McGee, son, Joseph McGee, father, John McGee, sister, Lindsey McGee and grandmother, Anne McGee.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 12 from 10-11a.m. at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO 64145 with a Memorial Service at 11a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Scott’s memory to the KC Suicide Awareness & Prevention Program.
