Ruth Ann was born on July 4, 1936, to Bill and Ruth Wenzel. Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Prichard Joseph von David, on September 27, 2020. She is survived by two sons, William Joseph von David of Kansas City, Missouri and Michael Patrick von David and wife Kim of Blue Springs, Missouri. A sister, Bunnie (Wenzel) Clatanoff and spouse Glen of Omaha, Nebraska as well as additional family and friends.
Ruth Ann's family came first, she was a devoted caregiver to her husband Prichard from his mild paralysis in early marriage until he was wheelchair bound at the age of 90. Her two sons were her finest achievements and she loved them and Prichard dearly, as they loved her in return. May perpetual light shine upon her and may she rest in peace.
Services for Ruth Ann will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 9020 E. 51st Terrace, Kansas City, Missouri 64133. Visitation at 9am with Rosary at 9:30am and Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10am. Interment following the mass in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri 64138.
