Robert “Bob” Riggs, 81, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sept. 11, 2016. Visitation will be from 11AM – 12 PM Saturday, Sept. 17 at Floral Hills Funeral Home with funeral services at 12PM. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Contributions in his name may be made to the Boone and Crockett Hunting Club or PETA, sender’s choice. Bob was a Marine veteran of the Korean War. He was a railroad inspector for Western Weighing and Inspection Bureau for 30 years, retiring in 1995. Bob was preceded in death by his first wife of 29 years, Betty Jean Riggs in 1983 and his second wife also of 29 years, Inez Riggs, in 2014. Survivors include 4 sons, Robert A. Riggs (Peggy), Michael W. Riggs (Susan), Steven M. Riggs, Brian D. Riggs (Shelley); a daughter, Laura A. Riggs; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
