Patricia Joann Long-Wallace

Patricia Joann Long-Wallace age 80 of Grandview, Missouri passed away Sunday, Julyl7, 2022. Patricia was born February 16, 1942. Patricia, known to her friends and family as Pat, was proceeded in death by her parents Paul and Louise Kennedy, sister Dorothy Kennedy and husband Richard Wallace.

She is survived by son Jerry Walczuk Jr., sisters Paula Kennedy Kinnison, Sandra Kennedy Towle and brother Bill Kennedy, three nieces, two nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Early in Pat’s career she worked for Phillips and Amaco Petroleum. After working in the oil industry, Pat found her forever job , working for the Internal Revenue Service from 1986 until retirement in 2019. During her 33 years working at the IRS she made many special and long-lasting friendships.

Pat was known to all her friends and family at the "hostess with the mostess". She was the one you called when there was an occasion, happy or sad, for celebration. She always went above and beyond to make everyone in her life feel special, loved and celebrated.

Pat will be missed by all that loved her and were lucky enough to have had her in their life.

There will be a Celebration of Life, Sunday, August 21, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Mission Lake Club house, 12101 Charlotte, Kansas City, Missouri 64146.
