Born August 1, 1944 in Independence, MO. She was the oldest of George and Shirley Lynn's two children. Following graduation from Raytown High School she began an extended career working with the Social Security Administration and the Department of Agriculture. As a dedicated Life Member of her Sorority, Beta Sigma Phi, Pamela embodied loyalty and camaraderie.
The place Pam looked forward to being the most was in her yard and garden. From the flowers out front, to the vegetables in the back, a place of beauty and life was created. Her passion for gardening extended past the garden borders, as she delighted in savoring the fruits of her labor and sharing them with loved ones. Pamela's culinary prowess brought joy to countless gatherings, where she lovingly fed family and friends. She would often save recipes and even send some to loved ones when she thought they would enjoy them.
Her love for the British monarchy and devotion to staying informed through her Majesty Magazines and various books, reflected her keen intellect and lively spirit. A staunch advocate of a proper English tea, she brewed strength and warmth into every cup, mirroring her own indomitable personality.
She rejoiced in keeping in touch with those she loved, as evidenced by her lengthy phone conversations, where she shared laughter, wisdom, and cherished memories with friends and family. She would create beautiful floral arrangements for loved one's events, and make sure flowers made it to the graves of those already passed.
Her sharp tongue was matched only by her generous heart, as she harbored no grudges and embraced loved ones with open arms. Proud sister, niece, aunt, godmother, stepmother of three and grandmother to five grandchildren, she found great joy in their accomplishments and milestones.
Pamela leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and enduring memories. Though she may have departed this world, her spirit will forever bloom in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to love her. Rest in peace, dear Pam, your garden of life will continue to flourish in our memories.
