My Condolences on the loss of your Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother.    I’m so sad I missed her service, was not aware she had passed.  

Kevin & I worked with Nancy at Mutual Benefit Life Insurance.    She was a lovely lady, always sharing and giving.  

Thank You Nancy for the chocolate sheet cake recipe!!  It is our favorite go to desert.  

I have one of Nancy’s flower pot Santa’s, it is one of my most cherished Christmas decorations!

Grandma Nancy, 
There are so many memories of being your granddaughter so I will just name a few. Let me start out with Tera and I watching Cinderella at your house when you would babysit us! You would let us put on make up, play dress up and play with the huge Barbie doll house.  I also remember when you came to our elementary school dressed as Mrs. Claus.  One of my favorites is when you would change the reindeer names to your grandchildren’s names when you read us “The Night Before Christmas” every year during the pass around game. As we got older and started our own families, you changed the reindeer names to your great-grandchildren’s names and they loved it as much as we did! I would say receiving the scrapbooks you made specifically for each grandkid tops the list!! Oh but who could forget your chocolate sheet cake!  
Grandma, your voice was loud by nature and your laugh was contagious! You were very crafty and loved your holidays.  You were a woman who was strong willed and knew what she wanted.  You were the life of the party and you will be forever missed. I love you, Grandma!

Grandma Nancy, you were the best at making all of us grandkids feel loved! From all 16 gifts you got us for our 16th birthday, to the beautifully made scrapbooks we have of our childhood, to the Christmas traditions and much more.
I will miss hearing you read The Night Before Christmas every year. I will miss all of the pictures we took at every holiday. You were my inspiration at Christmas and I always made my adult friends sit through the reading of The Night Before Christmas and pass their gift when I said THE a hundred times. It’s the most fun way to get a gift! And they quickly learned that I wanted a photo of their gifts too lol. 
I will cherish the memories of helping you at your booth at the craft fair. I will cherish all of the ceramics that you made that are at my parents house. I will cherish your rhymes and creativity. 
You loved life and loved your family and friends. You will always be missed. You made an impact on every single person you met. I love you Grandma Nancy! 

I will miss our phone conversations, cousin Nancy.  You were always so positive throughout your illness.  Always thankful for the family you and John had together. Your family was always your main and first priority!  Blessed was the family who called you Grandma Kowalski.  Rest in Peace. Cousin Linda Golubski Hurst

Nancy was a beautiful woman inside and out. My thoughts and prayers 🙏  go out to her children. May GOD give you all peace and be with you all. I know how hard it is to lose your mother. GOD bless you all.

So many memories......
From being a kid, playing at your house in the playroom with the big barbie doll house, we always played dress up and put on make-up, followed by a picture, you sure knew how to have fun!! 

At every birthday, we knew to look at you and pose to snap a photo. As well as at our Kowalski Christmas, we had to open presents one at a time and look at you after each one, so you could take a picture. It became second nature to all of us. You made sure to take pictures any chance you could, so you would have those "memories" and until becoming an adult, I didn't realize how important it is to have them! I cherish each and every scrapbook you have made, not only for me, but everyone else who had the pleasure of receiving one! 

There are many of your qualities that I see in myself every day, from talking loud, being goofy, tell it like it is, the love of crafts and creativity, etc. You are a one of a kind woman!!

I will never forget the famous words you said to me EVERY time you saw me..."Tera, you look prettier with blonde hair, when are you going to change it back?" I almost bought a blonde wig when I visited you the Sunday before you passed, so you could see me one last time with "blonde hair"....but I knew you loved me unconditionally despite the color of my hair!

Every time I called you (on your landline) I would giggle at every answering machine message, as it was always so clever and fitting for whatever time of year.  And when we did get to talk, I had to turn the volume down on my phone. HAHAHA!! 

Now, as an adult, I look back on every conversation we had over the years and I am so thankful for you! Thankful for our family and the relationship we had. You could make anyone smile and your energy was one in a million.  

I love you Grandma and I will miss you everyday!!❤️ Love, your favorite Granddaughter! 😉


My precious Nancy, I have sweet memories of you!  When I was younger, you took time to teach me how to macrame and how to crochet.  Love you!
