Milt faced serious medical issues in recent years with great strength and his family will honor his courageous spirit by living their lives to the fullest. Milt served in the US Army for six years and loved his country dearly. He graduated from Texas Tech El Paso and worked as a design engineer at Ford Motor Company for 37 years. The simplest pleasures of life brought the greatest joy to Milt, who loved his family above all. He also loved motorcycles, mandolins, banjos, bluegrass, wrestling, his wife’s cooking, and his dog Max. Milt shared his passions, particularly his love of motorcycles and music, with his children and grandchildren. Milt’s generous heart inspired everyone. With his contagious good nature, he never met a stranger. We will miss him dearly. His daughter, Darlene, preceded him in death.
He is survived his wife Alice, his sons Paul and Eric, his stepchildren Christine, Catherine, and Anthony, his grandchildren Lori, Brian, Christopher, Amanda, Amber, Nicolas, Ryan, Katie, Kari, Anthony, and Joseph, and 13 great grandchildren.
Milt will be honored with a military burial at Fort Sill in Elgin, Oklahoma on June 28, 2024, at 11 am.
