Mildred E. Clark

Mildred Elizabeth (Green) Clark passed away Sept. 19 surrounded by family. Services are Sept. 22 at Northland Cathedral, 101 NW 99th Street, Kansas City, MO, Visitation beginning at 1:00 PM, Funeral at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery.

Mildred, the first born of John Franklin and Katie Culver Green, was born in Dade County near Greenfield, MO, moved to Stockton about age nine and graduated from Stockton High School. She met and married John R. (Jack) Oyler in 1939. They lived in El Dorado Springs before moving to Kansas City in 1942. She and Jack had three children, Glenda Joyce, John Raleigh and Nancy Karen. Jack passed at age 43. In 1971 she married James O. Clark, now deceased.

In addition to her two husbands, she is preceded in death by her parents; her three children; brothers Jackie and Sam; and sisters Goldie and Emma. Survivors include her grandchildren Lenn O’Dell, Kenneth O’Dell, Stacey Donaldson, Lisa (Chris) Lee, John (Jean) Oyler, Andy (Scottie) Oyler, and Doug (Jackie) Kenworthy; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
