More than anything, though, he loved his family. His children, parents, siblings, and extended family were everything to him.
His career spanned the ever-changing technology of television. He installed satellite dishes and repaired the equipment that operated them. He worked for AT&T for 20 years, retiring in 2019 as a video engineer where his responsibilities greatly evolved, keeping the equipment working behind the scenes and shows on the air. His favorite show was The Andy Griffith Show, because it reminded him of his father.
