Mary Whitaker

Mary Frances Whitaker, 72, passed away Thursday September 29, 2011 at New Mark Care Center. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at St Gabriel Catholic Church, inurnment in Mt Olivet Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday at McGilley Antioch Chapel with a rosary prayed at 7:00PM. Contributions may be given to St. Gabriel Church or NorthCare Hospice.

Mary graduated from Lillis High School in 1956. She worked for 40 years at Hallmark Cards. She was an avid Chiefs, Royals and MU Tigers Fan. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Angelo & Marie Rossato, sisters; Virginia Halloran and Annabelle Hampshire.

Survivors include her brother Robert Rossato (Norma); sister, Sharon Milz (Donald); brother-in-law, John Halloran, Sr.; 15 nieces & nephews and their children.

Mary enjoyed her family, friends and food especially Taco Bell. Her sense of humor and laughter were a delight to all who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff at New Mark Care Center and NorthCare Hospice for their care and compassion. www.mcgilleyantiochchapel.com
