Marshall Bickett Hatfield, born January 23, 1925 in Dodge City, Kansas passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012. A Prayer Service will be held Monday, April 30th, 5:00 p.m., at McGilley State Line Chapel, followed by a visitation until 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 1st, 10:00 a.m., at Church of the Nativity, 3800 West 119th, Leawood, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seton Center, 2816 East 23rd Street, Kansas City, MO, 64127 or Advice and Aid, P.O. Box 7123, Shawnee Mission, KS, 66207.
Marshall attended Wentworth Military Academy, Rockhurst College and graduated from Northwest Missouri University. He was a Stock Broker with E. F. Hutton, and was involved in Commercial Real Estate and was a Realtor with J. C. Nichols.
Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Virginia Hatfield and his sister Betty Jane Hatfield. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marlene; three sons; three daughters; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandsons and a great-grandbaby due in October; and his beloved puppy, Missy.
