Mark Philip Vidovich

Mark was born on February 23rd, 1978 in North Kansas City, MO to Anthony and Joyce (Noll) Vidovich.

Mark attended St. Gabriel Catholic Grade School from Pre-School through 8th Grade.

Upon graduation from Bishop Miege High School in 1996, Mark entered the University of Missouri in Columbia where he was a proud member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Mark graduated in 4 years with a dual degree in Communications and Geography.

Post-graduation, Mark began his career with M.J. Harden in Kansas City where he relished the chance to work in the field of mapping and geography, an area he had a passion for his entire life. Later, his work in Sales and Advertising took him to California where he pursued multiple opportunities including starting his own Advertising Brokerage. While in California, Mark found his ultimate passion in the entertainment industry while acting in many various roles in multiple commercials, television, and film.

Mark’s passion for acting wasn’t the only thing he found in California. In 2012, he met the love of his life, Merje. They got married in 2014.

Mark was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed by his family and many friends who will always take solace in the memories of his infectious smile, larger than life personality, huge heart, compassion, and ability to bring peace and consolation to people while always putting others first.

Mark’s love for his wife and family was immeasurable. His special relationship with his nephew Luke truly exemplified this love.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Vidovich, Jr. and his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Merje Vidovich; Mother, Joyce (Noll) Vidovich; Brother, Christopher Vidovich; Sister and Brother-in-law, Donna and Tim Smith; and nephew, Luke Smith.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 4737 N Cleveland Ave., Kansas City, MO 64117. Visitation 11:00am, Eulogies 12:15 pm, Mass 1:30pm followed by a Mark “Vido” style get-together at Cascone’s Italian Restaurant, 3733 N. Oak Trfwy, Kansas City, MO 64116.
