Marjorie was born July 20, 1930, in St. Clair County, Missouri to Walter Grant and Frances Mae (Anderson) Snider. Her family moved to Appleton City in 1940 where she finished her schooling. In the 1950s she purchased a cafe in Clinton, Missouri, where some of her family worked alongside her. She later sold the cafe and moved to the Kansas City area where she met the love of her life, Marty. They shared 45 years of marriage before his passing in 2001.
You could always find Marge at an estate sale or finding items "on sale" at the department stores. Once when she spent too much at Macy's, Marty had her work there to pay off the debt. Marge loved her family and all the wonderful Snider family gatherings, Lifetime movies, scaring trick-or-treaters on Halloween, boating, eating out, and telling the neighborhood children stories of her arrival from Mars. She was very convincing and they still speak of it today.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Glenn Kincheloe; five brothers: Lloyd, Clyde, Donald, Clifford and Keith; four sisters: Virginia Preston, Thelma Richter, Vernetta Clark and Claudine Cerra.
Marge is survived by her daughters: Terry (Alvin) Griffin, Sandy (Skeeter) Davis and Belinda (Jim) Smith; grandchildren: Shona (Pat) Summerlin, Kristi (Travis) Thompson, Donny (Jenny) Smith, Justin Griffin and Christopher (Sara) Griffin; sisters: Shirlene (G.L.) Terry, Bonnie (Jerry) Bailey, Gwen (James) Johnson, Charlotte (Larry) Gillespie; and Gail (Herschel) Vaughn; Brother Garry (Sandy) Snider; great-grandchildren: Devin, Anthony, Austin, Douglas, Kelsie, Aliyah, Aidan, Hunter, Landon, Samantha Sue, Jackson and McKenzie; great-great grandchildren: Brighlee, Nova Nicole and Azarah; and several nieces and nephews.
