Margaret Gordon

The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 7th, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church; private family inurnment following cremation. Friends may call from 10 -11 AM Friday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association.

Margaret was born November 2, 1926 in Kansas City, MO to Edward Joseph and Monica Theresa (Manley) Welsh. She married L.E "Duke" Gordon, on November 16, 1946 who proceeded her in death in 2005. She was a member of the Hiberinians, St. Andrews Food Pantry and Altar and Rosary society. She was a Grand-Reading Friend, a Cub Scout Leader, a school room-mother and part of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. Duke and Margaret were co-owners of Northland Fire and Safety Extinguisher Company.

Margaret is survived by 6 children, Peggy Findlay (Robert), Patty Clark (Bruce), Joseph Gordon, Timothy Gordon, Kenneth Gordon (Brenda), Mary Wright (Patrick) 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
