Maggie was born on May 14, 1974 in Kansas City, Missouri to Joe Dickhut and Julie Clemens. She lived in Kansas City all her life, where she attended O’Hara High School. Maggie recently worked at Calvary Lutheran’s Early Education Center. She had a strong work ethic and made sure each child received the love and attention they needed. She would often tell her family fun stories about her class.
Her sweet smile, endearing personality, and tender heart will be missed. Maggie was generous and caring towards family and strangers alike. She had a way of letting others know they were valued. She was an extremely hard worker whose passion for helping others extended beyond her classroom. Maggie was always grateful for her family and friends and the time they shared together, especially when watching the Chiefs. She will always be remembered by her family and friends.
Maggie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Newton and Mary Margaret Tritico, and Earl and Patricia Dickhut. She is survived by her daughter, Maëliss Alexandra Larcher, parents Joe Dickhut and Julie Clemens, siblings Mary Helen McKay, Danny McKay, and Anna Carver, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the Maëliss Alexandra Larcher College Fund, 1513 SW Antiquity Drive, Lee's Summit, MO 64081.
