Linda was born November 18, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Joseph and Catherine (Yanner) Burke. Linda graduated at Glennon High School. Linda married Kenneth J. Suppes on April 18, 1970, he preceded her in death on June 23, 2016. Linda retired form K.C. Credit Union. She was a wonderful cook and loved family dinners. Linda also enjoyed knitting, reading, playing cards, volunteering at her church and spending time with her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her children Elizabeth Ann (Tomas) Martinez of Kansas City, Missouri and Jon M. (Suzanne) Suppes of Grain Valley, Missouri. Grandchildren Victor and Jasmine Martinez and Kaiden Suppes. Brothers Steven (Dianna), David (Sharon) and Kevin (Diane) Burke. Linda is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A memorial visitation for Linda will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 3736 S. Lee's Summit Rd., Independence, Missouri 64055. A rosary service starting at 10:00 AM and Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:15 AM, Father Joe Powers officiating. Inurnment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri 64138.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda's memory may be made to American Cancer Society and St. Mark's Catholic Church.
