Keaghan Michael McDaniel of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. He was born on November 19th, 2002, son of Niki McDaniel. Keaghan was her angel from heaven and he loved her more than anything.
Keaghan recently graduated from Lee’s Summit West high school on May 22, 2021. He enjoyed sports of all kinds, but his favorite of all time was baseball. He has a rock solid network of friends and family that love and adore him. When he was not playing sports or hanging out with family and friends, he enjoyed staying up late to play video games, watching Disney movies and working at his Uncle Greg’s power washing company. He loved his two cats, Charli and Bobs, and dog, Jaxx, dearly. Keaghan had an infectious goofiness about him that made everyone laugh and feel happy. He never knew a stranger and had the ability to brighten the world around him and spread joy just by being alive. He lived his life to the absolute fullest each and every day without fear of failure and with incredible positivity and love of God.
Keaghan was survived by his Great Grandmother, Pauline McDaniel; Grandmother/Mimi, Linda Lynch; Grandfather/Papa, Mike McDaniel (Soly McDaniel); Great Aunts, Denise Hall and Dayna McDaniel; Great Uncles, Pat and Paul McDaniel (Stacy); Aunts, Kaci Egan (Uncle Greg) and Lisa Circle (Uncle Jeff); Cousins, Sam Circle, Mackenzie, Gabby and Gregory Egan; Second cousins Danielle Koryn (Eric) with son Cooper, Ashley Gatlin (Eddie) with children Leo & Adeline, Nathan and Adam McDaniel with daughter Emani.
Keaghan also loved his girlfriend, Abbey Zellars, who held a very special place in his heart.
Keaghan was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother, Mary Hall, and Great Grandfather, Robert McDaniel.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of those who have provided love and support during this difficult time.
The visitation will be held Lee’s Summit Community Church on Monday, June 14th, 2021, from 9:00-11:00 with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00. The burial will follow at Newcomer's Funeral Home at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO.
