Kitty was born in Kansas City, Missouri on December 7, 1930 to Calvin N. Rouse, Jr. ad Willa (Wingate) Rouse. On October 14, 1947, she married Raymond F. Gardner. To this union, 5 children were born. She was second to none being a mama to her kids, their friends, and most of the neighborhood on 80th Terrace.
From an early age Kitty loved cars and their mechanics. She spent many hours under the hood of these cars with her daddy and was known to have a lead foot. She was a loyal KC Royals fan and enjoyed football and stock car racing. She was an excellent wife, mother, grandmother, friend, cook and seamstress. She enjoyed working in her rose garden, walking and traveling.
Kitty was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, daughter Julie, sons Daniel and Skyler, sisters Ruth and Mary Ann, and her parents.
She is survived by her daughter Kathie (Bill) Miller, son Fred (Terri), 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She also is survived by her sister Nancy Toney, her best friend Reta Hoffman and dear friend Jeri Bailey.
Kitty was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 27th at 3:00pm with services following at 4:00pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home in Kansas City, MO.
