Judith Joslin Porter, 81, Kansas City, MO passed away January 11, 2017. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Chapel, 10507 Holmes Rd. Private burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. She was passionate to make sure that children have a chance at a wonderful life.
Mrs. Porter was born December 29, 1935 in Kansas City. She attended Southwest High School and graduated from the University of Missouri in 1958. She was a Delta Gamma. Judy married Ronald R. Porter in 1958.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 15, 2008; and two brothers Charles and John Joslin. Mrs. Porter is survived by her children: son Steven Porter and his wife Renee and their three daughters Molly, Kari and Kelli; daughter Karen Porter; son John Porter and his wife Crystal; and extended family.
