Jill Eileen Waddle

Jill E. "Beanie" Waddle passed at 60 on December 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Jill was born on October 21, 1964, in Kansas City, MO - the daughter of William "Bill" and Mary "Betty" Markey. She graduated from Archbishop O'Hara High School in 1983. She married Michael D. Waddle on June 19, 1993. She worked at Mid-America Merchandising as a Client Relations Manager for the last eight years. Jill was a passionate sports fan, participant, and coach. She always cheered on her family, friends, and the Kansas City Chiefs no matter what. Jill loved traveling and spending time near the ocean. She also loved the lake, and all throughout her life she spent her summers there. She always found a way to brighten a room through conversation, dancing, or singing. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Jill is survived by her husband of 31 years, Michael, and her children, Elizabeth, Margaret, Christina, and Cassandra. She is also survived by her siblings, Kacey Hobson, Rich Markey, Mary Markey, William Jr. Markey, Jim Markey, John Markey, and her mother, Betty Markey. Her father, Bill Markey, who passed in 2016, preceded her in death.

The visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a Funeral Mass following from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, December 27th, at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 2103 Lexington Road, Pleasant Hill, MO 64080.
