Jeff was a very talented artist. He preferred to draw sci-fi pictures but also was talented in creating clay sculptures. After graduating from high school in 1980, he went to college at SMSU in Springfield then transferred to MU in Columbia. He eventually moved to Memphis, TN where he worked as a Hotel Manager. After living in Memphis for several years he moved back to Kansas City, Missouri.
Jeff always had a love for animals and had multiple dogs or cats living with him at any time. He worked at a Veterinarian's Office as a Vet Tech. He was frequently rescued cats and dogs.
Being the older brother, Jeff enjoyed tormenting his younger sisters. From tearing the heads off their Barbies and interrupting their recording of a mix tape! He was also known for the ever popular “stop hitting yourself” game.
Jeff was an amazing uncle to one niece and three nephews. He was the cool uncle that lived in mid-town Kansas City and was always doing something to make everyone laugh. He shared a love of super heroes, comic books, and music with his nieces and nephews.
Jeff was consistently the loudest person in a room and would always had something funny (and probably inappropriate) to say. He had an amazing wealth of useless information. We always said he would excel if he ever went on Jeopardy. He was also never wrong or at least in his mind. Many family gatherings involved someone saying “hold on, let me google that”.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Barb Hauser; two sisters Tracy (Mike) Binkley and Terri (Dean) Clement; his nephews Zach (Bri) Binkley, Russ Clement, and Chase Clement; and one niece Alex (Tanner) Gerstner. He is also survived by three great nieces/nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hauser; maternal grandparents, Helen and Chester Temple; and paternal grandparents, Alta and Art Hauser.
